Disney Drawings

I went to Disneyland and they have these awesome classes where you can learn to draw a different character every half hour. I had a ton of fun and wanted to post my characters.

Then when it was my last day I was sad I wouldn't be able to draw like this anymore, so I bought some Disney drawing books, and these are my first couple that I have done so far.

Disney Characters

This one is of Ariel, which mostly turned out alright. My favorite part is her hair.

This one is Peter Pan. I like everything except for his eyes.

Portraits/People

This is a portrait I did of a friend of mine. I am pleased with the way the flowers turned out, especially the lily.
Title: Flowers For Anna

This is a self portrait that I would be more proud of if I didn't have a habit of making heads look strangely big.

This was just a quick painting I did because I was doing a lot of paintings of people- well only girls I suppose- but it didn't turn out too bad I guess.

This was the first painting I tried of a person. I am really proud of it since it was my first try.

Birthday Present

I painted this in May for my cousins birthday. I painted it for her because no matter what life throws at her she is always smiling under it all.

Today

Today I wanted to paint. I just finished these, and I may do more, but I really like these ones so I wanted to put them up; even though no one looks at this blog.
This is the first one that I did. I have been thinking about doing it for a while and I am pleased with the way it turned out.
I can't think of a title for it.

This one I really love. I think that it is my favorite painting that I have ever done.

Doctor Who

Tomorrow is my brother's 23rd birthday and we both share a love for Doctor Who. I was hoping that this year I would be able to buy him an awesome present since I got my first job two weeks ago, but I haven't been paid yet. So hopefully my brother will appreciate my TARDIS themed painting.

Mother's Day

These paintings were my Mother's Day present for my mom. When I was little she used to sing that "You are my sunshine" song to me, and when she thinks of it she pictures a sailboat and a sunny sky. So I painted these for her. The first one used watercolors for the background and acrylics for the figures. The second one I used all watercolors.
